Here is an idea I have had for a little while... It seems that I cannot get rid of it... it keeps on coming back into my heart. So I want to take a moment to share with you the idea.
In exactly 6 months there is an awesome date coming up 12.12.12 :-)
I’m sure alot of cool commercial stuff will come out... so what if we will join the fun?!
This date is an historic date. It falls on a wednesday butI think it is just great if we could do something that will mark this date in history. The great thing is that this date is also in the season where you can show alot of LOVE to people... yeah christmas... So in a way that can be a remix of the christmas story lol
What do you think of SPARK: Project 12
Because of this awesome combination of 12 I thought we could use it to our advantage and keep on playing with the number...

Because of this awesome combination of 12 I thought we could use it to our advantage and keep on playing with the number...
The Bible tells us to shine like stars in the midst of our crooked generation (Philippians 2:15)
We walk as light. We are children of light. We are the light of the world. (Jn 12:34) And even this year PGM verse was about light... “let our light shine”
So what if we will let our light shine... or at least spark?! What if we could pick just 12 people who are far from God and by doing something special to them bring some godly SPARK in their life. Think about a young mam that we can paint a house? A sick neighbor that we can do a garden for? Maybe a homeless that we can give an amazing meal. ANYTHING CAN GO!!!
God is pleased when we serve others clothes other ,welcome others... Whatever we do for others somehow He takes it very personal! ( Matthew 25:41-46)
So what if each group (tieners, jeugd, and 22+, will find 4 people because 3x4=12 :-) to spark on...
Each team their own way their own strategy to reach 4 people far from God and spark them with Love. You can do whatever you want... Your team can lead the way...But in the midst of it all we should film everything so that we can create a short film to show on the night of 12.12.12 SPARK: project 12
The event can be very evangelistic... a great time to fellowship and connect, a powerful time of worship and the screening of the short film... well I’m sure we can create an awesome program

Al people involved can be invited to this AMAZING event 12-12-12 :) This is just the big line but man how cool will it be if we could pull it off... and create an awesome platform for all the young people and young adult to invite their non christian friend and non christian co worker and let Christ shine on them and with no doubt let them be sparked by his love?

Ik denk dat dit een gaaf idee is, omdat een event zoals dit de jongeren actief maakt zonder dat het ‘eng’ wordt. Gewoon actief iets doen voor een ander. Je kunt hier heelveel ‘teaching’ aan hangen - princiepes die Jezus ons voorleeft in kwijt.
En het na afloop met elkaar vieren (woensdagavond 12-12-12!). Niet op een ‘normale’ kerk manier - maar BIJZONDER. Die woensdagavond moet niet op een kerk-dienst lijken - maar op een FANTASTISCH SFEERVOL FEEST!
We kunnen zo invulling geven aan ons thema ‘GAAN’.
Denk zelfs dat we ons als kerk kunnen profileren als een kerk die echt iets doet voor ANDERE.
12 momenten/12 mensen waar we de liefde van onze Jezus laten zien!
Zullen we hier als jongeren leiders eens openhartig over BRAINSTORMEN!?
